ABOUT US

Situated in the town of Broxbourne in Hertfordshire we are some 5 miles south of Hertford and 5 miles north of junction 25 on the M25. Established in 1848 Broxbourne Cricket Club can be found in an idyllic setting nestled alongside the New River, a stone’s throw from the River Lea.

With a club house that is open all year we are affiliated to Broxbourne Sports Club and our facilities are among the best in the county and include covered viewing areas, two squares and 3 modern outdoor nets.

We have 4 adult teams competing in the Saracens Hertfordshire League and provide cricket for all levels of ability. We also provide cricket for juniors ranging from the age of 5 to 16 and are holding our inaugural Women’s Cricket Festival in 2021. Our Director of Cricket Gagan Dissanayake is ECB 3 qualified and leads a dedicated team of volunteer DBS vetted coaches and helpers.

Broxbourne Cricket Club is affiliated with Hertfordshire Cricket and we are a partner of Essex Cricket. We regularly host County age group matches and when possible, host the Essex 2nd eleven. We have also hosted ICC U/19 World Cup international matches and we host the Combined New South Wales School Boys touring party every 2 years.

We provide a welcoming, social, and diverse environment for players, their families and supporters of all ages and we are committed to doing so into the future.
